Timothy Patrick Dunn

Dunn, Timothy “Tim” Patrick, 68, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2025, surrounded by family. Born in Springfield on October 6, 1957, he was the son of Thomas R. and Marianne (Dougherty) Dunn. A proud 1975 graduate of Catholic Central High School, Tim went on to attend the University of Arizona. He made his home in Springfield before moving to Tucson, where he lived for nearly 25 years. It was there he met the love of his life, Maura (Sprecace) Dunn, with whom he shared many joyful years until her passing in 2003. Tim was a devoted sports fan who never missed a chance to cheer on his favorite teams—the Ohio State Buckeyes, Arizona Wildcats, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. He also adored his dogs, Jake and Bentley, who brought him constant companionship and joy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved wife, Maura. He is survived by his sons, Timothy John “TJ” Dunn and Ryan Patrick Dunn; his brother, Tom (Kim) Dunn; sister, Nancy (Danny) Lemmons; brothers, James (Debra) Dunn and John (Susie) Dunn; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who will forever cherish his memory. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to his niece, Nichole Smiddy, and to Dr. George Sprecace and family of New London, Connecticut, for their care, kindness, and support during this time. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Tim’s life on Friday, September 19, 2025, at CONROY FUNERAL HOME in Springfield. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by a service at 6:00 p.m.
