SODDERS, Rowenia, 87, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Wooded Glen. She was born on October 13, 1938, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and C. Virginia (Rife) Dixon. Rowenia had worked as head teller at Security National Bank for many years and later as a deputy clerk for Clark County Municipal Court for 22 years. She was an excellent seamstress and a wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed euchre and playing bingo. Rowenia was a member of the Moose Lodge Auxiliary and Elks Lodge #51. She was a loving mother to three daughters, Lynn & Gary Robinson, Angela Mae & Jim Hutchins and Joy Sodders (Shawn) Piper; eight grandchildren, Lauren (Justin) Houseman, Kyle (Brittany) Robinson, Seth Rohrer, Erin (fiancé Bryce Whittington) Rohrer, Mallory Hutchins, Miles (Sarah) Fenton, Mitchell (Haley) Fenton and Noah (Kenzie) Fenton; many great grandchildren; two brothers, Charles (Becky) Dixon and Richard (Lori) Dixon and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie, in 2019; two sisters, Jean Kaffenbarger and Barbara Warmoth and a stepdaughter, Sherry Woodard. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday in the funeral home with Pastor Alan Cain officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
