Robert L. Duckwall

Duckwall, Robert L. "Ducky", 80, of Naples, FL, died peacefully on June 10, 2013 at AVOW Hospice Care facility in Naples. Robert was born January 19, 1933 in Washington Court House, OH to Ralph E. and Louisa (Jarnigan) Duckwall. At the age of 8 he moved to Springfield, OH. He graduated from New Moorefield High School, and later joined the Army in 1953 and was Honorably Discharged in 1960. He retired from International Harvester after 30 years of service (at age 52) to pursue other interests. He moved to Naples in 1986. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (1966) and son Michael (2003). Survivors include wife Barbara, son Tim (Kathy) Duckwall, daughter Cindy (Steve) Metz, daughter-in-law Mary Duckwall, stepchildren Doug (Sherri) Heath, Steve Heath and Kristen (Mike) Lee, 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandkids. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 12 noon to 1:00 pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with a service to follow at 1:15pm in the chapel at St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Mercy Hospice.
