Richard B. Temple

TEMPLE, Richard B. “Rick”, 77, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, in his home surrounded by his family. He was born on September 28, 1947, in Springfield, Ohio the son Lamar and Delores (Coe) Temple. Rick worked as a welder at Navistar for 32 years. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching his son race racecars. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Cindy (Bair); three children, Bryan & Lisa Temple, Corra & Tawon Hunter and Kimmie & Mike Jensen; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; six siblings, Dottie & Bill Porter, David & Renee Temple, Shirley Ford, John Temple, Caroline Cunningham and Marilyn Neely; numerous nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Barbara Grusenmeyer and very special friends, Al & Sue Riggsby and Sherry Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Charles Fent. Rick was a social butterfly and never knew a stranger. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
