Richard Dale Riley

Riley, Richard Dale, 77, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2025, in his home. Richard was born January 31, 1948, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Harold and Eva (Stamper) Riley. He was a 1966 graduate of South High School and went on to serve in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the VFW Post 1031 and the Union Club. In his free time, he enjoyed traveling and watching Nascar. Survivors include two children, Todd (Heather Wood) Riley and Tracy (Matt Rowe) Cochran; five grandchildren Riley and Reese Cochran, Emma (Dominic) Amos, Brenna (Andres) Delfin and Noah Riley; one brother, Gary (Gloria) Riley; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friend, Donna Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill, Ed and Roy Riley; and one sister, Betty Storts. Per Richards request, no services will be held.
