Richard W. Hairston

Hairston, Richard W. “Rich”, 53, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2024 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Rich was born May 15, 1971 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Bernard and Patricia (O’Brien) Hairston. He was a truck driver for Hiney Trucking and was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. Survivors include one son, Noah Hairston; two siblings, Harold (Sheila) Hairston and Nicole Hairston; significant other, Gina Beckel, and her children, Alex and Lisa Pennington, and her grandchild, Kairi Pickell; and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 4:00pm in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior, starting at 3:00pm in the funeral home.
