Rebecca Claar

Claar, Rebecca J., 61, of Springfield, died March 7, 2013 in Heartland of Springfield. She was born December 16, 1951 in Springfield, OH to Harold and Alice (Frazier) Claar. Rebecca had worked as a bus aide with the Springfield City Schools and also enjoyed her time working with the ladies at Clark Memorial Home. She was a member of the Union Club. Survivors include her husband, Joseph "Joe" Thompson; a son, John Claar; 3 grandchildren, Adam, Sara and Ashly Claar; 6 great grandchildren; two stepsons, Jerry (Gina) Thompson and Joey Thompson; a sister, Patricia Skaggs; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Margaret and Jim. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Elliott and Harold "Buddy" Claar, Jr. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Orbie Estep officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
