Dunn, Pauline, 98, of Springfield, died March 17, 2013 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 16, 1914 in Grafton, WV to John and Flora (Sinis) Darakis and moved to Springfield shortly thereafter. She was a 1933 graduate of Springfield High School. Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Robert; two daughters and sons in law, Flora and Jack Hughes, Venice, FL and Becky and Jim Picolo, Springfield; grandchildren, Andrea Davis, Lynne (Mike) Diedrich, Tom (Teresa) Speros, John, Molly and Doug Wagner, Jim (Amy) Picolo, Dan (Jennifer) Picolo, Karen Felty, Mike (Stacey) Picolo, Nick Picolo, and Jennifer (Toby) Hayden; great grandchildren, Anthony and Lee Davis, Gus, Kaley and Gunner Speros, Camille and Matthew Diedrich, Luke, Nicholas and Alex Picolo, Emily (Tyler) Harmon, Beth (Brandon Crowe) Picolo, Claudia and Maci Picolo, Victor, Katie, Emma and Oliver Felty, J.D. and Beth Walsh, Maggie and Mary Kate Picolo, Jack, Charlie, Henry and George Hayden; great great grandchildren, Payton and Cass Harmon, Reese Thompson and Annabelle Crowe; nieces and nephew, Mary Ann (John) Harner, Nancy Shively, Joanne (Doug) Cox, Florene Poulos, Barbara (Doug) Ditty, Helen DiPietro, Suzanne (Bob) Bunner, and Thomas Darakis; many great nieces and nephews; and a cousin, Mary Clonas. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son, John Wagner, brothers and sister in law, Tom and Nina Darakis, George and Pete Darakis, sisters, Christine Stamos and Catherine Canellis. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Hickerson, Community Mercy Hospice nurses, Katie and Lynn, and also, Sharon, who helped ease our mother's last months with their loving care. She touched the many lives in our family with her great love and grace. Friends may call in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Chaplain Bruce Heckman officiating. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery.
