Patricia Ann Brugger

Brugger, Patricia Ann, 87, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Hospice of Dayton. Patricia was born November 22, 1938 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Jerome and Mary (McLean) Jung. She graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1956 and immediately began working for Ohio Bell, retiring in 1992. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, where she taught Bible Study for many years and was very active in the Prayer Line. Patricia was also an avid gardener, having taught a class on dried flower arranging at Wittenberg University and often arranged flowers for special occasions at the church. Survivors include one brother, Jerry Jung; two nephews, Michael (Leah) Jung and Brian (Robin) Donahue; and a niece, Bonnie Jung. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis, in 2004; sister, Mary Jung Wieland; and a brother, Tommy Jung. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernard Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
