Myrtle L. Linn

Linn, Myrtle L., 94, of Springfield, died at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2013 in her residence. She was born in Springfield on January 14, 1919 the daughter of Walter and Effie (Peacock) Severs. Survivors include three children and spouses, Barbara Pickering of Greenfield, Ohio, Frances (Jim) Cockfield of Savannah, Georgia and Thomas (Sue Ann) Linn of Springfield; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; three brothers, Walter Severs of Texas, Don Severs of Springfield and James Severs of Georgia; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Kathy (Mike) Amos. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas in 1991 and three sisters. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Acclaim Hospice for their excellent care. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Rev. Clegg Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery.
