Monica Irene Porter

Porter, Monica Irene, 78 of Springfield, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Oakwood Village. She was born in Springfield on June 4, 1946 the daughter of John Jacob and Martha Rose (Fahey) Gnau. Survivors include her four children and two step-children, Deborah (Norman) Harvey, Diane, Darren and Douglas Sutch, Nancy (Rod) Patefield, Harold (Julie) Porter; four sisters, Rita Robinson, Barbara Wall, Marilyn Aldridge and Angela (Phil) Thompson; 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Porter and siblings, Joan, Terry, Robert and James. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Friday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:00 am on Friday at CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
