Michael J. Lonsway

Lonsway, Mike, 68, of Springfield, passed away August 5, 2026, in Southbrook Care Center. He was born February 19, 1958, in Springfield, the son of the late Austin E. and Norma Jean (Parker) Lonsway. He attended St. Raphael School and was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, Class of 1976. He married the late Linda Kay (Hamilton) at St. Raphael Catholic Church in 1981 & had three children. He is survived by his two children, Michelle (Matt) Brickman and Ian (Britni) Lonsway. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; Makenzie & Mason Brickman, & Nori & Brody Lonsway and one great-grandchild Tobias Spada. In addition, he is survived by his four siblings, Phil (Desiree) Lonsway, Kathy Kano, Doug (Ruth) Lonsway and Linda (Pat) Szempruch and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda, in 2022, and son Matthew in 2021 and brother-in-law, Zak Kano. He loved playing golf and he and his entire family were AVID Cleveland Brown fans. Mike loved spending time with his family, and the Browns games were definitely a highlight. He worked at Honda as a welder and became a Team Lead and later was diagnosed with MS. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 21st at CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held two hours prior, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
