Mattie M. Moore

MOORE, Mattie M., 77, of Springfield, passed away September 8, 2025, in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born January 20, 1948, in Elliott County, KY, the daughter of the late Earl and Drusilla (Ferguson) Gilliam. Survivors include her husband, Charles “Gary” Moore; two sons, Thomas and James Sterner; three stepchildren, Ronald Moore, Angela Hooper and Mandy Moore; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; seven siblings, Joyce Kaufhold, Avery Gilliam, Penny Urton, Ella Thompson, Jerry Gilliam, Sherry Roberts and Elbert Gilliam. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Sterner and five siblings, Ernie “Gene” David, Drusilla, Minnie and Brenda.
