Mary Marjorie Jung

Jung, Mary Marjorie "Margie," 92, of Springfield, OH passed away February 18, 2013 in Forest Glen Health Campus. She was born December 29, 1920 in Scottdale, PA to Michael J. and Mary (Cafferty) Syron. Margie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, C.L. of C. Branch #56 and #207 and a former member of the Fr. Bernard Guild. She loved her needlework, as evidenced by the pictures her children have to remember her by, and was also the best Notre Dame and Cincinnati Reds fan in town! Survivors include six children, Peg Jung of Springfield, Betsy (Dan) Graham-Oberer of Beavercreek, OH, Dan Jung of Springfield, Rita Soper of Bellbrook, OH, Christine (Bob) Baumann of Westerville, OH and Jeanne Lowe of West Carrolton, OH; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Carl W. in 1982, a granddaughter Sarah Jung, and daughter-in-law Teresa Jung, and son-in-law, Bob Graham. The family would like to thank Mike Lacey and staff at Forest Glen Health Campus for the wonderful care Margie received. They would also like to thank Odyssey Hospice, especially Kim, for their care. Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with C.L. of C. services at 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society.
