RIZER, Mary Jo (Becker), 82, of Springfield, passed away February 6, 2013 in Villa Springfield. She was born June 19, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of Arthur and Imojean (Blithing) Becker. She had worked as a grill manager for Sheehan Brothers Vending for over 25 years. Mary Jo was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Mother's Club at St. Raphael, a volunteer at Mercy Hospital and a member of Beta Psi Sorority. Survivors include four daughters and spouses, Pamela & Don Severs, Paula & Robert Young, both of Springfield, Paige & David Fuller, Arnold, Maryland and Patrice & Charles Setterfield, Springfield; one son, Timothy Rizer, Beavercreek; 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her baby sister and best friend, Norma Maute; two sisters-in-law, Jean Ann & William Gonce and Joan Rizer and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law Bo Maute and Don, Jerry and Robert Rizer. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. & Mrs. Hickerson, Dr. Khana, Villa Springfield and all their staffs. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Teresa Catholic Church. Celebration of Life luncheon will follow immediately at K of C #624, 2055 S. Bird Rd. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Catholic Central High School Education Fund. The family is being served by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
