Mary F. Smith

SMITH, Mary F., 84, of Springfield, passed away Friday, September 7, 2018 in her home. She was born January 14, 1934 in Springfield the daughter of Audis and Hazel (Clark) Cochran. She had worked in the payroll department at JVS for a number of years. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Orville "Gene" Smith; two daughters, Rhonda & Scott Harris and Cheryl Jahnke & Doug Bussey, both of Springfield; five grandchildren, Jenifer Harris, Jason & Kelly Harris, Mallorie & Justin White, Maranda & Jonathan Biggs and Mathew Jahnke; eight great grandchildren, Ryleigh, Gavin, Ahnika, Delilah, Kinsley, Dean, Alexandria and Tyler; one sister and brother-in-law, Dottie & John Zink and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and brother-in-law, Martha & Bill Roberts and a great granddaughter, Avery Biggs. Visitation will be held from 11:00AM to 12:00 PM on Friday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will follow at 12:00PM in the funeral home. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
