Martha Sue Reagan

Reagan, Martha Sue, 92, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, in her daughter’s home surrounded by family. Martha was born July 13, 1934, in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of John L. and Barbara (Hawkins) Doherty. She was a devoted Air Force military spouse for 20 years and later retired from Wright State University. Survivors include five children, Betty Reagan, Marti (Mike) Brumfield, Cindy Oiler, Jim (Kay) Reagan and Mimi Reagan (Shawn B.); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carolyn Doherty; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James; daughter, Barbara; brother, John F.; twin sister, Betty Lou; and sons-in-law, John Ellison and Kent Harkins. A private family gathering will be held on Friday, October 16, with a Celebration of Life to be held in the Spring of 2027. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
