Marcia L. Maurer

MAURER, Marcia L. 83, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, in SOIN Medical Center. She was born on July 8, 1941, in Waynesburg, Kentucky, the daughter of Walter and Ona (Fyffe) Millard. Survivors include her significant other of 18 years, Jim Amburgey; three sons, Joey Alkire, Jerry (Tammy) Alkire and Jimmy (Tammie) Alkire; six grandchildren, Tabitha Blankenship, Paige Miller, Corey Hamaker, Casey Alkire, Kyle Alkire and Joseph Alkire; great grandchildren, Brandon Blankenship, Nathalie Blankenship, Julian Miller and Kenzlee Alkire: siblings, Fran, Eddie, Shirley, Juanita, Darlene and Carol. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Maurer in 2007 and a daughter, Joni Hamaker. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, March 10, 2025, in Rose Hill Chapel. Entombment in Rose Hill Mausoleum.
