Lovana (Reynolds) Firestone age 78 passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday, March 15, 2026.
Born September 1, 1947 to the late Bernard & Esma “Sudie” (Adkins) Reynolds in Springfield, Ohio. Lovana attended Northeastern High School and graduated in 1966. She enjoyed getting together once a month for lunch with fellow classmates. She came from a large family and enjoyed getting together and spending time with several of her cousins and extended family.
Lovana was an accomplished seamstress and held numerous jobs with Capital Cleaners, Wright Patterson AFB Cleaners, Springfield Laundry, and Rainbow Industries. She also sewed from home and was highly sought after for her skills of sewing and alterations.
Lovana loved to do craft projects and putting puzzles together with her husband, Bill. She was a generous person and enjoyed giving gifts.
Lovana is survived by her husband, Willliam (Bill) Firestone; her sons, Kevin (Nikki) Crist of Springfield, Ohio and Austin (Sarah) Combs of Maineville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Kyle, Secoya, and Ross; her stepdaughters, Dara (Dino) Valdez and Carla Nowak; her step grandchildren, Taylor, Mikayla, Reed, and Julia; brother, Ron (Barb) Reynolds; sister-in-law, Carole Reynolds; nephew, Tim Reynolds; and dear friend, Jim Carpenter, whom Lovana considered like a brother.
Lovana is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Mike Reynolds; and nephews, Scott and Christopher Reynolds.
Celebration of Life will be Friday, March 27 at First Christian Church, 3638 Middle Urbana Rd., Springfield, Ohio 45502. Visitation 11am-12pm, Service 12 pm. Graveside service will follow at Fletcher Chapel in Harmony, Ohio where Lovana will be laid to rest.
Lovana’s smile, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of many. She will be deeply missed by her family, many friends, and those that knew her.
