Larry Maurice Moore, Sr.

Moore, Sr., Larry Maurice, 82, of Springfield, passed away at 12:51 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 in Essex of Springfield. He was born in Thackery, Ohio on February 6, 1935 the son of David and Gladys (Nill) Moore. He worked for Cooper-Cameron Industries for 35 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church and recently attended First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, Dana (Norton); four sons, Larry (Dee) Moore, Jr., David (Debbie) Moore, Joseph and Michael Moore; brother, Terry (Joyce Layne) Moore; sister, Brenda (Ed) Baysek and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and very special great nephews, Carson Norton, Tyler and Dillon Claar and Lucas Allen. His service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor John Pollock officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
