Larry E. Clevinger

CLEVINGER, Larry E., 74, of Springfield, passed away April 21, 2026 in the Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born December 20, 1951 in Grundy, VA the son of the late Henry T. and Mary M. (Smith) Clevinger. He served in the United States Army for nearly 20 years. He worked construction for various companies over the next several years. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Deborah “Debbie” (Reed); two sons, Benjamin (Heather) and Nicholas; two grandchildren, Owen and Kayla and three siblings, Nancy (Alan) Schilke, Melissa (Phillip) Yost and Anita (Mark) Long. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, David Renford Clevinger and Hershel Randall Clevinger. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. He will be laid to rest in Dayton National Cemetery.
