Kirk C. DeWeese

DeWeese, Kirk C., 72, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 30, 2026, in his home surrounded by family. Kirk was born on November 16, 1953, in Troy, Ohio, the son of George Colemand and Elizabeth Ann (Gooding) DeWeese. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was a member of the Eagles Club in Troy. He enjoyed bowling and was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, and the Cleveland Browns. In addition to his mother, Kirk is survived by his significant other, Joanna Winkler; four step children; eight step grandchildren, including special grandson, Matthew; three step great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lori (Scott) French and Cindy (Mike) Weikert; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father. A visitation will be held on Friday, November 6, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
