Karen M. Easter

On Friday, March 15, 2024, Karen Mae Easter (Arantz), loving wife, sister, and aunt passed at the age of 82.  

Karen was born on May 22, 1941, in Springfield, Ohio to Robert and Ozella Arantz.  A graduate of Springfield High School.  Karen and her spouse, John Easter (deceased), were long-time residents of Springfield, Ohio.   

Karen dedicated her life to hard work in the commercial trucking industry, covering nearly 5 decades.   She also found joy and pride in the upkeep and beautification of her lawn and garden.  Karen, and her husband John, cherished dogs, and any animal that needed care.  Karen had many attributes, but her honest and nurturing nature is what made Karen standout.  Karen’s greatest duty was the dedication, time, and unconditional love that she bestowed upon her extended family, including eight nieces and nephews.  Karen was a devout Catholic and a dedicated member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Springfield, Ohio.     

Karen was preceded in death by father Robert, mother Ozella, sister Joanne, brother Bruce, husband John, great-great niece Abriana, great nephew William, and great nephew Stephen.  Karen is survived by her brother Larry Arantz (Margie) of Springfield, Ohio; nieces/nephews, Gary Arantz of Springfield, Ohio; Chris Arantz (Zoe) Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Cheryl Kocher (Richard) of Springfield, Ohio; Lynn Arantz of Urbana, Ohio; Tina Lockard (Rick) of Springfield, Ohio; Todd Arantz (Aggie) of Clinton, Tennessee; Larry Arantz Jr of Mesa, Arizona; Robbie Arantz of Springfield, Ohio; many great nieces and nephews, and many more great-great nieces and nephews.
