Judith “Judy” D. Worthen

Worthen, Judith “Judy” D., 84 of Springfield, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026, at Oakwood Village. She was born on February 21, 1942, in San Diego, California the daughter of Joseph and Marguerite (Craig) Thacker. Judy was a bartender for many years at Lacy’s. She loved her pets, loved family gatherings and loved her extended family that she met through bartending. Survivors include her two children, Joe Malone and Mindy Weaver; three grandchildren, Daniel Malone, Kyle (Christie) Karnes and Amber (Dustin) Rupp; three great grandchildren, Robbie Malone, Rylan Rupp and Noah Malone; two stepchildren, Jay Worthen and Jill Worthen; her extended family, Tracy (Al) Ferguson, Linda Malone, Nancy Thacker and Kevin Weaver and her loving cat, Callie. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Worthen; brother, David Thacker; grandson, Nick Malone and her ex-husband and lifelong friend, Donald Malone.
