John D. Campbell, II

CAMPBELL, JOHN DOUGLAS "HOMER", 73, OF SPRINGFIELD,

passed away peacefully after battling a long illness.

John was a graduate of Shawnee High School. He was a master welder/ fabricator at Sutphen Corporation for 30 plus years.

He was preceded in death by his father, the late J. Douglas, and mother, Doris Campbell.

John is survived by his daughter Sarah Florence (Campbell), sister Marilyn Riley, special friends Paul Vespery, Chris Bramble (Sondra), Don Rawlings, Steve Adams, Bob Hoy, and many others.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Vitas Hospice and Northwood Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff for their support during his final days.

In true John "Homer" fashion, no services will be held.
