Hannan, Jean M., 85, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in her home surrounded by family. Jean was born February 5, 1941, in Troy, Ohio, the daughter of Lester and Lydia Joy (Thompson) Studebaker. She graduated from Tippecanoe High School and later Miami Jacobs Junior Business College. Jean retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 34 years and later worked for Attorney John Emerich for 20 years. She was also a member of Heritage Fellowship Church. She enjoyed watching the Reds and especially loved watching all her grandchildren’s sporting events. Survivors include three children, Chris (Jennifer) Hannan, Todd (Jan) Hannan and Shane (Erin) Hannan; nine grandchildren, Noah, Dylan, Cassidy, Seth (Lindsey), Sarah, Matthew (Kirsten), Brody (Kelley), Kylie and Kelty; five great grandchildren, Lily, Sadie, Mia, James and Sophie; two siblings, Betty White and James Studebaker; brother-in-law, Richard (Kathleen) Hannan; sister-in-law, Joyce Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Larry, in 2015; stepmother, Mildred Studebaker; sister-in-law, Jan (James) Wheeler; and brother-in-law, John Clark. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20 at 9:30 a.m. in Heritage Fellowship Church, 105 N. Tecumseh Rd. in Springfield. Burial will follow in Vale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Heritage Fellowship Church.
