Manion, Jamie Dean Clinton, 59, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Jamie was born on September 16, 1966, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Lawrence Cloyd and Doris Jean (Fawcett) Manion. He graduated from Northeastern High School in 1984. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman and was a huge Ohio State Buckeyes fan. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to flea markets and travelling to Gatlinburg. But more than anything, Jamie enjoyed spending time with his family and coaching them in sports. Survivors include his wife, Paula; two children, Gregg (Taylor) Manion and Kayla (Chris) Manion; two step children, Emmalee (Michael) Wentz and Brandon (Peyton) Northern; seven grandchildren, Bradley, Daxton, Avery, Remington, Charlee, Navy and Oaklynn, with more on the way; four siblings, Peggy Hupp, Darcus Manion, Kelly Manion and Dakota “Koty” Applegate; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; special friend and mother to his children, Carol (fiancé, Dustin Jeffers) Manion; family friends, Chuck (Michelle) Reynolds; and Shari Eipper (MIL). In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings, Lawrence G. Manion, Marty Fawcett, Jeff Manion and Jim Hupp. A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. The funeral service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home. The family asks that you wear your favorite Ohio State attire to honor Jamie. Jamie will be long remembered for his sense of humor, friendliness and kindness to others. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to His Hands Extended Sanctuary, 1560 Dialton Rd., Saint Paris, OH 43072.
