James P. Parker, Jr.

PARKER, James P. Jr., 50, of Springfield, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1968 in Henderson, TN the son of James P. and Sharon (McCollum), Sr. James worked as a Quality Assistant Manager at Yamada North America for 15 years. Survivors include his wife, Colleen (Campbell); 4 children and spouses, Deanna & Ryan Burleson, Springfield, Angela & Charles Bridges, Massachusetts, Thomas Parker and Ethan Parker, both of Springfield; 2 grandchildren, Aiden Parker and Olyvia Bridges; 3 siblings, Karen Moore, Melinda Burkhard and Richard S. & Sherry Burkhard; mother-in-law, Janet Campbell and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Richard D. Burkhard. A Celebration of Life will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the National Trail Parks and Recreation District Administrative Office, 1301 Mitchell Blvd., Springfield, Ohio 45503.
