James L. Haggy

Haggy, James L., 73, of Springfield, died Friday, October 11, 2013 in his residence. He was born in Pomeroy, Ohio on June 19, 1940 the son of Oakey and Irene (Collins) Haggy. He worked for Shaffer's Body Shop, owned and operated Haggy's Hauling and also worked for Kut Rite Manufacturing. Survivors include his wife, Rose Marie (Hysell); three children, Gary Haggy of Georgia, Chris (Cheryl) Haggy of Springfield and Sherry Cox of Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and brother, Alvin Haggy. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. His funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Brent Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
