Frazier, James B., 82, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, in his home surrounded by family. James was born December 23, 1943, in Belvidere, Illinois, the son Enfer and Marie (Burton) Frazier. He retired from Navistar after 42 ½ years, where he was known as “Arizona.” He was introduced to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by his close friends, the Sevey family, and was always grateful to them for that introduction. Survivors include two children, Pamela (Keith) White and Gracie Frazier; son-in-law, Kris Popham; grandchildren, Jennessa (Nick) Lightle, Tyler (Haley) Frazier, Hattie (Jacob) Dillon, BreeAnna Frazier, Casey Popham and JJ White; great grandchildren, Taylynn (Adrian Yates) Kelly, Jaden (fiancé, Michael Robinson) Wilson, Bentlee Frazier, Sa’Mya Frazier, Enslie Frazier, Porter Boggs, Ella Grabill-Walker, Jaxon Dillon and Ezra Grabill-Walker; one great-great granddaughter, Hazel Yates; sister-in-law, Nancy Holich; brother-in-law, Kenneth Morlan; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Maryon Frazier, in 2024; daughter, MaLynda Popham; grandson, Keith White, Jr., two sisters, Betty Louise Frazier and Eva Morlan; brother-in-law, Jim Holich; and two nephews, Keith Griffis and Michael Morlan. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 9, at 12:00 p.m. in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation will be held one hour prior, beginning at 11 a.m. in the church. Burial will follow in Terre Haute Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
