Helen R. Soales

SOALES, Helen R., 86, formerly of Springfield, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2020 in The Ohio State University Medical Center. She was born June 1, 1934 in Springhills, Ohio the daughter of Wilbur and Mary (McConahea) Evans. She worked for Springfield City Schools in the kitchen for 13 years. She was a longtime member of Lighthouse Tabernacle and was also a member of Elderly United. Survivors include two grandchildren; five great grandchildren, one niece, Connie & Wayne Young, Marysville; two nephews, Jack & Mary Brown, Punta Gorda, FL and Richard & Patty Brown, Springfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 2000, a daughter, Debra Olinger and a son, Randy Soales. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
