Gay Ann Steiner

STEINER, Gay A., 82, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Forest Glen Assisted Living. Gay was born September 14, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio to Robert and Gladys (Lewis) Ater. She had a successful career with Ohio Thermometer and Home City Federal Savings and Loan. She was also an avid bridge player and was a member of the Springfield Bridge Club. Survivors include three children, Curt (Jan Allen) Steiner, Cindy (Jim) Smith and Chris (Jackie Grody) Steiner; eight grandchildren, Michael, Corey (Nick), Jacob (Hillary), Melissa (Kyle), Benjamin, Bridget (Fabian), Elizabeth (Derek) and Kyle; seventeen great grandchildren; one brother, Bob Ater; and special nephews, Mark and Ben Ater. Our sincerest gratitude to the Forest Glen staff for the amazing care and support of Gay and her family. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
