Gary D. Welty

Welty, Gary D., 47, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025, in Springfield, Regional Medical Center. Gary was born April 10, 1977, in Lubbock, Texas, the son of Jeana (Love) Strickland. Gary loved his family and spending time outdoors. He is survived by one daughter, Autaviah Knisley; one sister, Sylvia Hicks; niece and nephew, Jayla Wells and Austin Hicks; and longtime special friend, Tammy Botkin. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Jeana and Jesse Strickland. No services will be held at this time. Arrangements by Conroy Funeral Home.
