Elbert "Junior" Jones, Jr.

JONES, Elbert, Jr. "Junior", 78, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born December 4, 1939 in Morehead, Kentucky the son of Elbert and Barbara (Black) Jones, Sr. Junior was the founder and owner of Springfield Plate Glass for 33 years, retiring in 2018. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Marjorie Ann (West); four children and spouses, Kim & Cheyenne Stuart, Urbana, Tami & Wade Haney, Springfield, Jeff & Cindy Jones, Dayton and David & Maria Jones, Springfield; eleven grandchildren, Michelle & Sam Jones, Jenny & Danny Wehrs, Tiffany & Travis Smith, Christy & Tommy Isbell, Chris Sisco, Cory Jones, Tori Jones, Jeff Jones, Jr., Taylor Stuart, Brandon Stuart and Kyle Jones; ten great grandchildren; seven brothers and sister, Loretta Johnston, Don Jones, Larry Jones, Sue Mercer, Sharon Brake, Dennis Jones and Phyllis Wilcoxen and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Cledith Gross, Darlene Daugherty and one brother, Ron Jones. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Chris Raulston officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
