Elaine Marie Haemmerle

Haemmerle, Elaine Marie, 67, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, January 10, 2024 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. Elaine was born June 13, 1956 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Martin and Alma (Mattfeld) Haemmerle. After graduating from Arizona State University in 1978 as a Registered Nurse, she joined the United States Air Force and was a Captain, serving for 12 years. After spending much of her adult life in Arizona and New Mexico, she recently moved back to Ohio after retirement. Survivors include five siblings, Tom Haemmerle, Gary (Judy) Haemmerle, Bruce Haemmerle, Douglas (Sandra) Haemmerle and Howard (Diana) Haemmerle; one uncle, Robert Mattfeld; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by CONROY FUNERAL HOME.
