MACKAY, Dennis W. "Denny", Jr., 37, of Springfield, died unexpectedly on March 14, 2013. Dennis was born on June 7, 1975 in Springfield the son of Dennis and Pamela (McCain) MacKay. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved taking his wife shooting, snuggling with his baby girls that he loved more than life itself, four-wheeling in his Bronco and working on cars. Survivors include the love of his life, his wife, Rebecca (Perry); his two girls, Kira and Kaidence; his mother, Pamela MacKay; sisters, Mary Alice (Joe) LaCerais, Katie (Ty) Stoddard, Mandy (Mark) Barnett; brother, Caleb (Kristin) MacKay; grandmothers, granny, Mattie McCain and grandma Nellie MacKay of Sparks, Nevada; his in-laws, Matthew and Carrie Perry; sister-in-law, Angela (Dewey) Farmer; his brothers from other mothers, Zack (Julie) Smith and adopted daughter, Autumn, John Bartley, Kyle (Kristy) Bartley, Shannon (Tori) Ashley; his dog, Gotti and many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were near and dear to him. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis W. MacKay, Sr., his grandfathers, John McCain and Donald McLean MacKay, Jr. and his dog, Bruce. Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and one hour prior to his funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a college fund at Fifth Third Bank for the benefit of the MacKay girls.
