Dolores Spridgeon

Spridgeon, Dolores Irene “Steam”, 96, of Urbana, passed away Friday, September 4, 2026, at Springfield Regional Medical Center. Dolores was born September 5, 1929, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter, of Thomas and Anna (Baker) Buck. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School, member of St. Bernard Church, and retired from R & M. She was also an avid sports fan who loved the Reds and Ohio State Football. But more than anything, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, especially attending all of their sporting events. Survivors include five children, Tim (Olena) Spridgeon, Audrey (James “Bo”) Maine, Terry (Cindy) Spridgeon, Tracy (Darin) McManamay and Tony Spridgeon; five grandchildren, Pasha Spridgeon, Julia Maiolo, Heather (Chris) Reisinger, Brandon (Amber) Spridgeon, Will (Angel) Hagstrom and Jerrica McManamay; seven great grandchildren, Brad Maiolo, Addison (Hayden) Reisinger, Preston Spridgeon, Carson Spridgeon and Hannah Spridgeon, Mae Banks and Mar Banks; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob,” in 2011; two siblings, Thomas Buck and Jack Buck’ and a son-in-law, John Hagstrom. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Bernard Church. Burial will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery at a later date.
