Dante J. Ianni

IANNI, Dante J., 90, of Springfield, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 in his home. He was born April 15, 1928 in Springfield, Ohio the son of Anthony and Maria (Anastasti) Ianni. Dante served in the Army Air Corps during the Korean War. He then served for over 30 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base as a Civil Servant. Dante was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Rosetta Ann; one son, John & Nancy Ianni; three grandchildren, Megan, Katherine and Nicholas Ianni and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his five siblings, Sam Ianni, Lucy Ianni, Frances Cappelli, Mae Amato and Josephine Pinti. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior beginning at 12:30 in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Hospice Care of Dayton.
