Daniel R. White

WHITE, Daniel R., Sr., 83, of Springfield, passed away November 4, 2026, in Good Shepherd Village. He was born December 7, 1942, in Springfield, Ohio, the son of the late Albert M. White and Ora Jane (Rafferty) & Edward Geis. He retired from ADT after working as a repairman for many years. Daniel was a member of Harmony Lodge #8, Urbana, Ohio and V.F.W. Post 8673. Survivors include one son, Daniel R. White, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, J.R. (Kaitlynne) Staats and Rachelle (Matt) Crosbie; six great grandchildren, Hannah, Arianna, Makayla, Cierra, Addi and Cayson; two brothers, Adam (Susie) Geis, Michael (Darla) Geis; one sister, Jane (Casey) Craven and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Collette in 2019 and a brother, Francis Geis. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm on Wednesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Jody Noble officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm with Masonic Services at 12:15 pm. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
