Carolyn J. Wright

WRIGHT, Carolyn J. (Hughes), 77, of Springfield, passed away August 11, 2026, in Ohio Masonic Home after years of battling dementia. She was born October 10, 1948, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Mary M. (Moore) Hughes. Carolyn was a school bus driver for Carlisle Public Schools. Survivors include two sisters, Judy & William Sisler and Debbie Frantz; one nephew, Kelly Sisler; one niece, Michelle Carroll; three great nieces and nephews, Ashlie, Courtney and Michael; seven great great nieces and nephews, Leia, Eli, Zelda, Minerva, Kairi, Judy and Freya; and "special grandchildren," Kanaan, Bailee, and Kyra. She was preceded in death by her two sons, Randy Paul and Chris Paul. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be held one hour prior, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery.
