Carol Sue Youker

Youker, Carol Sue “Sue”, 77, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in her home. Sue was born August 14, 1947, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Jack and Bonnie (Chase) Hickey. She was a lifelong member at St. Raphael Catholic Church and was a longtime Realtor in the Springfield area and member of the FOE #397. She enjoyed bowling, tennis, and watching the Bengals, Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes. She also enjoyed travelling, especially to Myrtle Beach and the Smokey Mountains. But most of all, she loved spending time with her husband, son, and grandchildren. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, John H. Youker; one son, John D. Youker; two grandchildren, Collin (Abby Sturgeon) Youker and Claire Youker; and four cousins, Dan (Tammy) Chase, Dr. Debbie (Dr. Richard Needham) Powell, Mickey Groeber and Joan Groeber. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Raphael Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dayton Children’s Foundation.
