Carol Steiner

STEINER, Carol, 85, of Springfield, passed away Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Heartland of Springfield after several months of failing health. She was born March 15, 1933 in Springfield the daughter of George and Nancy Ruth Huffman. She retired from Purex Corp. in 1995 and enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping. Carol was a member of The Lighthouse Tabernacle for several years. Survivors include her children, Mark A. Steiner and Terri L. Smith (Steiner); grandchildren Jamie A. Steiner and Camryn Steiner and grandchildren, Dylan and Michael Steiner. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, James Steiner, along with several brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to her great niece, Bev Marrs for all the love and support through her illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Rick Clos officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior from 12:00 to 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
