Carol Ann Sanders

Sanders, Carol Ann (Palmer), 77, of Jensen Beach, Florida, passed away suddenly on Monday, February 16. Carol was born January 1, 1949 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Elden and Mary Catherine (Foreman) Palmer. She was a cheerleader at St. Mary’s School and a 1967 graduate of Catholic Central High School.

Carol simply loved all people, never met a stranger and took great pride in her various roles working in high-end country clubs and restaurants in Southeast Florida and Fairfield, Pennsylvania. Carol loved college football, especially her Ohio State Buckeyes, as well as the Cincinnati Bengals. In her spare time, Carol loved shopping and spending time with her dogs, Bella and Bailey. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and the way she lit up every room.

Carol was predeceased by her parents, Elden and Mary Catherine Palmer, and her brother-in-law, David (Gail) Sanders. Survivors include her beloved husband of 42 years, Tom; sister Michelle Palmer; brother Tom (Susan) Palmer; nephew Timothy (Jackie) Palmer; niece Julie (Jerry) Burkett; and very dear cousins Patty (the late Leo) Kelly, Marilyn (Mickey) Hannon and Cynthia (Stan) Erter. Carol adored her large extended family of cousins, great-niece and great-nephews.

Visitation and Celebration of Carol’s Life will be held Thursday, March 5th from 1 pm to 4 pm at Aycock Funeral Home, 950 NE Jensen Beach Boulevard, Jensen Beach, Florida.
