Deselem, Billy, 88, of Springfield, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 13, 2013. He was born December 7, 1924 in Springfield the son of Pearl and Ocie (Waugh) Deselem. He owned and operated Deselem Contractors for 40 years and had the Windowman franchise of Springfield. Billy was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Anthony Lodge #455 F&AM, Shriners and was a US Navy veteran having served in the submarine service in WWII. Survivors include two daughters and spouse, Becky (Ron) Bishop and Cindy (Les) Everhart-Pierson; eight grandchildren, Tammy (Kenny) Rice, Tim (Angie) Bishop, Scott (Janet) Everhart, Luke (Lori) Everhart, Mark (Anne) Everhart, Mandi Pierson, Josh (Natalie) Pierson and Jesse Pierson; great grandchildren, Matthew and Caleb Rice, Shania and Kayla Bishop, Olivia, Madelyn, Michele and Elliot Everhart, Iris, Jesse and Lily Pierson; one sister, Nora Mae Beamish and his beloved cat Goldie. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara in 2012. Visitation will be held on Monday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME with Masonic Services at 2:30. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. in Rose Hill Burial Park with Pastor John Pollock officiating. A celebration of life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday in the Fellowship Hall at St. John's Lutheran. Memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Temple, Springfield or St. John's Lutheran Church.
