Beverly J. Anderson

ANDERSON, Beverly J., 86, of Springfield, passed away September 13, 2026. She was born March 24, 1940, in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Peter and Marie (Georgopoulos) Anderson. Beverly worked as a supervisor at the US Post Office in Dayton for over 45 years. Over the years she raised and showed German Shepherds, Lakeland Terriers and Wirehaired Dachshunds. She served as a 4H leader and raised sheep all her life. She was a member of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. She is survived by one sister, Sylvia Krupp; sister-in-law, Terri Anderson; nieces and nephews, Peter & Kathy Green, Stephen & Erin Green, Angela & Matt Madtes and Nikki & George Kalemanis; four great nieces and nephews, Amelia, Sascha, Joshua and Anna and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Leon, Christie and Alex Anderson; sister, Sharon Green and two brothers-in-law, Lance Green and Tyke Krupp. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Thursday in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the church. Burial will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church.
