Arthur D. "Art" Baer, II

Baer, II, Arthur D. “Art”, 76, of Yellow Springs, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at OSU Wexner Medical Center. Art was born August 23, 1949, in Paterson, New Jersey, the son of Arthur D. and Ethel M. (Deppe) Baer. He worked in the Public Service sector for the City of Defiance, and later Urbana and Middletown. He loved baseball and worked for the Dayton Dragons Ground Crew for 8 years. Survivors include his loving wife, Janet (Selby) Baer; two children, Aaron (Eden) Baer and Sarah (Bill) Columber; three grandchildren, Lavi, Mayim and Isaiah; three siblings, Daniel, Joan and John; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings, Richard and Carolyn. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 6 at 3:00 p.m. in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior, beginning at 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
