Anna "Kay" McKinney

McKINNEY, Anna C. "Kay", 71, of South Charleston, went home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2013. Kay was born August 7, 1942 in Louisville, KY the daughter of Vedna (Siers) Davis. She had worked as a guidance counselor for Southeastern High School for 25 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 44 ½ years, James F. "Jim" McKinney; one daughter and spouse, Michelle (Lee) Dudley, Berea, OH; three granddaughters, Jennifer, Kristina and Karlee; sister-in-law, Rose (Ken) Stidham, Springfield and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday in Cornerstone Baptist Church, 2643 N. Limestone St., Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday in the church with Pastor Sam Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community-Mercy Hospice.
