Andrew F. Hackett

HACKETT, Andrew F., 38, of Springfield, passed away September 2, 2026, in Dublin, Ohio. He was born July 21, 1988, in Springfield, the son of William Scott and Christina (DiGiorgio) Hackett. He worked as a field agent for Erie Insurance Company and attended St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church in Dublin. Survivors in addition to his parents include his paternal grandmother, Janet Hackett; two brothers, Scott & Jackie Hackett, Springfield and Phillip Hackett, Maineville; three nieces, Sophia, Emma and Chloe; one nephew, Wesley; Godparents, Robert & Carla Williams, Maryland and many other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ross and Santos DiGiorgio and his paternal grandfather, William R. “Buddy” Hackett. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, September 9, in St. Teresa Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Clark County Animal Welfare League.
